Meet The Team

Owner of Eventide Massage

Michael Abramski

I am the Owner and Certified Massage Therapist, working along side some amazing massage therapists here at Eventide Massage LLC.  I graduated form the Wellness Massage Center & Institute in St. Albans, VT, in November 2016.  My massage sessions draw upon a variety of modalities such as Deep Tissue Massage, Sports Massage, Swedish Massage, Shiatsu, Phenomenal Touch, to name a few.  Meeting new people and helping others through massage brings me a good deal of joy!  It would be a great privilege to meet with you and address the needs of your body, whether it be with Deep Tissue/Sports Massage, a relaxing Swedish Massage, or an integrated cupping session.

A little about me:  I have lived most of my life in Vermont, enjoying the beautiful outdoors.  After attending culinary arts school for four years, I enjoyed cooking professionally for fourteen years.  However, I felt it was time to open a new chapter in my life, and decided to pursue a career in massage therapy.  I am truly looking forward to my continued journey in this field!

Ian McClure

In 2018, Ian decided he needed a change in careers.  During that year he attended the Downeast School of Massage in Waldoboro ME.  There his focus was on therapeutic massage studying a multitude of modalities and techniques.  He is proficient in deep tissue, sports medicine and lomi lomi, which is a Hawaiian style of massage he practiced after graduating.

Ian started working with Eventide Massage LLC in 2021.  Still very interested in pursuing his study of anatomy, he started his two year degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) at Kennebec Community College where he plans to graduate in spring of 2023.

"The best part of what I do, is seeing the joy in my clients' faces when they are able to get back to living the life they want."

Ian was born and raise in the great state of Maine, making him a true Mainer!  Ian has an out going and up beat personality.  In his not so spare-time he enjoys studying and practicing Jiu Jistu, socializing with friends, cooking and most of all standing on his hands.

Amanda Foster

Reiki Master

Amanda began her Reiki journey in 2012 with Odilia Forlenza at the North Carolina Reiki Training Center in Asheville NC.  She eventually received her Reiki Master Certification and has been practicing Reiki for the past 10 years.  Amanda believes that self-care is an important component for physical and mental wellbeing,  She feels that Reiki is an excellent way to relieve stress, help the body relax, heal and reconnect with one's self.  It also helps the client let go of negative energy and emotions that they might be holding onto in their physical or energetic body.  Amanda has been a licensed esthetician since 2007, and is certified in integrative reflexology since 2014.  She is also a trained evidential medium.  She is originally from SC, holds a BA in French from the college of Charleston.

In her free time she enjoys spending time outside, traveling reading, and making pottery.

Jessica King

Jess' intuitive deep listening skills enable her to connect with clients' physical and energetic bodies.  She cultivates a sage and relaxed environment for the body and mind, allowing for a natural and comfortable bodywork session.  Her objective for each therapeutic session is for clients to leave feeling lighter, grounded, rejuvenated and more attuned to their body.

Sessions are curated for individual clients' needs.  Modalities include:  Swedish massage, deep tissue sculpting, reiki energy work (USUI Reiki second degree practitioner), sound healing and meditation.

Jess is a native Mainer.  She spent the last decade exploring California, where she attended the International Professional School of Bodywork (IPSB) in 2015.  A lifelong knowledge seeker, she recently completed her undergraduate degree from the University of Southern Maine in Social and Behavioral Sciences.  Currently, she is pursuing a Masters in Counseling.  The natural world and insight Meditation is how she finds balance and recharges mentally and physically.
